We long to share healing and hope. We take seriously the call to bring our creativity and resources to the table, looking for ways to bring God’s vision into focus here: a community where tears are wiped away, deepest needs are seen and met and all people are embraced as family.
We are committed to being a multicultural organization that worships in both English and Spanish, and we are a safe place for those who have traveled long distances. We are a permanent site for the Bilingual Learning Center, a Spanish/English dual immersion program for elementary-aged children before and after school.
Contact usWe believe that God has created each one of us beautiful and beloved. We are a Reconciling in Christ Congregation, which means that we see, celebrate, and advocate for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. We continue to be grateful for the late Tim Fisher, Nokomis Heights member and part of the passionate staff at ReconcilingWorks. Tim’s efforts to expand and advocate for the RIC program encourages all of us to be freely and fully ourselves.
We are a multicultural community continuing to challenge our biases and barriers as we work with JUSTmove so that we can be a force of healing in a divided world.
When you worship at Nokomis Heights, you’ll hear a message of love and inclusion for all people. You’ll sing songs both ancient and new. You’ll speak English or Spanish – or both! And you’ll be embraced by a multi-generational and multi-cultural community.
Growing in Faith: Sundays at 9am
We’re here for you when you need support. Through our member-powered Prayer Chain, homebound visitations from our pastors and spiritual care team, and collective support in trying times, we show up every day for those who need some extra spiritual and emotional care in their lives.
