Children
You are loved.

We’re a church where the smallest members feel equally welcomed, loved and heard.

Our children’s ministry leader, Blanca Raniolo, has decades of experience teaching and leading children’s programming, and she’s so excited to share God’s love and her own excitement with kids age 3 through grade 5.

Join us for Sunday School.

Sundays at 9am
Age 3 through grade 5

Sunday School is an hour of crafts, music, storytelling and snacks. We meet every Sunday during the school year unless school is closed (MEA weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, MLK weekend, etc.).

Check out our upcoming events or sign up for our newsletter for updates. No registration is required. Just show up, we’d love to meet you!

Meet other families.

If you’d like to meet other families with young children, come to our Fourth at Four group. Families are invited to gather on most fourth Saturdays at 4pm at Nokomis Heights for adult fellowship and kids’ play time. It’s a great way for both parents and kids to meet new friends. For more information or to RSVP, please contact us.

Bilingual learning.

Our building is also home to the Bilingual Learning Center (BLC), a dual immersion program (English – Spanish) for kids in Pre-K through grade 5 before and after school. BLC offers summer day camps at Nokomis Heights and a Fall Festival fundraiser with costumes, face painting, food, inflatables and more. The program is run by our Sunday School director, Blanca Raniolo.

Piano and voice lessons.

Nokomis Heights is also one of the locations for LK Arts Academy’s piano and voice lessons.

If you would like to communicate in Spanish, or if you have questions about Sunday school or the Bilingual Language Center (BLC), please call or email Blanca.
