We are updating our electronic giving system for greater convenience. You can now use the Give+ app to manage your giving directly from your phone. Dana Lonn will continue to assist those who prefer not to use the app, and a web portal will be available soon. Please note that Vanco Payment Solutions has renamed the tool from Simply Giving to Give+.
To install the Give+ app and set up your account:
- If you are a current user of Simply Giving (Give+), send an email to Dana Lonn at either simply@nokomisheights.org. Include in the email, the email address that you want to use as your user ID for Give+. It is important that your email address is current in the data Give+ database so that you account connects to your existing record. Dana will verify the email in the database, update as necessary and reply with a confirming email. If you currently do not use Give+ this step can be skipped.
- Go to the App Store or Google Play and search for Give+ by Vanco Services, LLC. Download it to your phone.
- Search for Nokomis Heights Lutheran Church. We are a long-time customer of Vanco and it is easy to find.
- Create an account using your email address and other name and address information. It is important that for existing customers you use the email that you confirmed with Dana Lonn. New users feel free to go ahead. As the administrator, Dana will receive emails confirming you setting up an account.
- After you log in, you should be able to see your giving history and future transactions. You may make special gifts or change your reoccurring transactions through this app.
- For existing users, your checking account is already attached to your record. You may also use your debit or credit card. You would need to add the debit or credit card as a payment option. I would encourage you to use your checking account if possible as the fees charged to the church are 0.3%, where credit card fees are 2.35%. But please use what works best for your finances.
- The user ID that you set up for this app is also used for the web portal when that gets deployed.
If you have questions or would like assistance is downloading and setting up the Give+ app, please contact Dana Lonn. He will walk you through the steps to install the app on your phone and establish an account.
