Book Club Meets February 23
The February book selection is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot. Will There Be Worship in Bad Weather?
It’s that time of year again—the snow season in Minnesota. Every effort will be made to worship each Sunday morning, but occasionally the weather causes cancellations. The answering ma-chine at the church office will reflect cancellations or changes in schedule due to weather a minimum of 90 minutes prior to an event. For example, on Sunday mornings, a decision to cancel worship will be on the voicemail by 7:00 a.m., should it be necessary. If you do not feel it’s safe to travel to or from church, you should stay home. Consider having “home church” on these occasions—reading a little from the Bible, sharing family prayers, and singing favorite hymns. When the weather clears—and it will—we’ll look forward to seeing you back in worship!
